Providing strong women with strong sanitation in Harford County
The Menstrual Access Initiative is a student-led organization dedicated to providing donated menstrual products to women experiencing menstrual poverty. We distribute products through period pantries in homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, and women's centers across Harford County, Maryland.
How we make a difference
Our initiative focuses on collaboration within our community of donations and shelters to combat period poverty and ensure every woman has access to the essential feminine products she needs.
Period pantries
We establish and maintain period pantries in local schools, homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, and other places in need, making menstrual products readily available to provide sanitation to all women.
Community partnerships
Collaborating with local organizations, businesses, and schools to expand our reach and impact.
Donation drives
Organizing and promoting donation drives to collect menstrual products from the community.
Awareness and advocacy
Educating the community about menstrual poverty and advocating for policy changes to support women's health.

Our commitment to Harford County
