Our progress in Harford County
The Menstrual Access Initiative is a student-led organization making significant strides in Harford County. We are currently in contact with schools, libraries, and local businesses to host vital donation boxes. These efforts are crucial as we establish period pantries within homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, and women's centers, directly supporting women experiencing menstrual poverty. We are committed to breaking the cycle of period poverty, ensuring access to sanitary menstrual products for all women in our community.

Stronger together: our valued partners
Our impact is amplified through the incredible support of our community partners. We proudly collaborate with Period Pantry MD to expand our reach and resources. Locally, we work closely with the Harford Family House and Anna's House in Harford County, Maryland. These partnerships are essential to our mission, enabling us to provide crucial menstrual products and support to those who need it most. Together, we are building a network of care and accessibility.

Our vision for a future free from period poverty
The Menstrual Access Initiative dreams big. Our primary goal is to establish multiple accessible period pantries throughout Harford County, ensuring no woman is left without essential menstrual products. Beyond Harford County, we aspire to expand our initiative into neighboring counties, spreading our impact and support. To achieve this, we continuously strive for plentiful donations, which are the lifeblood of our efforts. With your help, we can realize our vision of a community where period poverty is a challenge of the past.
